About Alicia Olatuja:
Alicia Olatuja (MM in Classical Voice from Manhattan School of Music) grew up immersed in a wide range of musical styles, including gospel, soul, jazz and classical. These influences have informed her teaching style and artistic journey performing in operas and musicals at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Memphis Opera, Urban Arias and as a solo artist with her own jazz band in major jazz festivals and venues around the world. In 2013, Alicia was the featured soloist with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir at President Barack Obama’s Second Inauguration. Alicia has a deep passion for performance and education, conducting masterclasses, private voice lessons and vocal workshops around the world, teaching her holistic approach to vocal performance to her students for over 15 years.
